We are looking for musical directors to start up a fun-loving community choir to join our existing family of choirs.
We are a thriving group of adult community choirs in the South of hte UK and are always looking for people to open new choirs with us. We rehearse weekly and sing an uplifting repertoire of pop, contemporary and musical theatre songs in four-part harmony. No auditions – just a shared love of singing and a welcoming, inclusive spirit.
About You:
We’re searching for a confident, energetic and musically skilled MD who can:
- lead joyful, engaging rehearsals
- support mixed ability singers
- bring creativity and fun to the room
- share our mission of accessible, feel-good singing for everyone
- play piano, read music, and teach harmonies
Rehearsals: Weekly for 90 mins
Start Date: tbc
Payment: this is a paid position
Experience with community choirs is a big plus, but heart and commitment matter most.
